Bro. Craig Mahoney accepted the call to preach the gospel from the moment of his conversion at age 23. Once a mentor helped him discover a gift in personal evangelism, he became a Certified Teacher/Trainer for Evangelism Explosion International in 2008. At Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, he studied in both the Bible college and seminary while serving as Pastor of Outreach at First Baptist Church of White Settlement. Craig was ordained to pastoral ministry in 2018 and has served on staff at churches in Nebraska and Missouri. His focus now is helping churches with evangelism and revival events.
A Personal Evangelist
Unlike a "revival" preaching evangelist, a personal evangelist is gifted for one-on-one conversions (Acts 8:26-40). This emphasis makes the revival strategy different; the emphasis must become going out to meet people where they are at with the gospel instead of inviting people to come listen to a preacher. Bro. Craig and his team will help mobilize and train your church and then lead them out into the community to share the gospel face to face with your neighbors. The results typically show how much more effective this biblical method is than group invite and group preaching. The week ends on your Baptism Harvest Sunday when we celebrate the baptisms and decisions made that week.
